I have lived in this movement for many years – since early childhood – and it has taken me many years to finally be able to function outside it, something the movement does not want to be responsible for. Nor has it tried to help me with my life.

This is my way of finding justice for myself, since the movement has been rather silent about most of the incidents I tell. And that is the wrong way to deal with these things. It is better to bring them to the surface and clean them from the movement's past. Only then can the Hare Krishna movement start clean. Maybe people will even respect the movement for its integrity. In the meantime, the truth is mine – the truth about my abuse. I am willing to share it now.»
