The songs of this CD describe the glories of Sri Nityananda, or Nitai. Nityananda appeared in Ekachakra, a little village in West Bengal, India. He was the eldest among the sons of Hadai Pandit and Padmavati. In his early childhood, Nitai had no other happiness then enjoying the pastimes of Lord Krishna and he had no other interest than enacting them. When Nitai was 12 years old, a sannyasi passed through Ekachakra and Lord Nityananda left his home to travel with him to the holy places.
When Sri Krishna Caitanya manifested his true identity, Nitai started to distribute bhakti (love and devotion to God) on his order. Lord Nityananda got married to Suryadasa Pandits daughter Jahnava and ger younger sister Vasudha who became the happy mother of Nitai's son Viracandra and daughter Ganga. The family returned to Ekachakra. One day Nitai went to the temple and disappeared through the deity of his brother Bankim Ray (the deity is still worshiped in Ekachakra).
